Pisarzhevskii Institute Of Physical Chemistry of The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description1 The project aims to create effective catalysts based on oxide and zeolite systems and carbon materials for "green chemistry" processes to produce commercially important unsaturated hydrocarbons (ethene, propene, butenes, buta-1,3-diene), oxygenates (butan-1-ol, 2-ethylhexan-1-ol, formaldehyde) and esters (cyclic carbonates, carbamates) from renewable raw materials. The project includes the development of catalysts based on Mg(Ca)-Al(Y, Ce)-oxide systems, zeolites of structural types of MFI, FER, BEA, etc., mesoporous molecular sieves, carbon materials via the controlled change of functional properties of the surface, e.g. by modification with compounds of d-elements, for the processes of conversion of C1,2,4 monoatomic alcohols and CO2 with diatomic and amino alcohols.
