On the way to the European community, Ukraine has declared a course to the adaptation of national legislation to the standards of EU law, among which the norms that enshrine fundamental human rights have a decisive place. This obliges domestic lawyers to constantly work on improving legislative acts designed to guarantee human and citizen rights. The above illustrates the relevance of the study of international and national legal means of ensuring human rights at the general theoretical level. The results of the research will have both general scientific and applied significance and can be used in legal activity and in the educational process.
