The main goal of the project is to construct GM-CSF producers based on methylotrophic yeast with "humanized" protein glycosylation. Cultivation conditions of the obtained producers will be optimized to maximize GM-CSF production. Methods for GM-CSF purification will be developed. An additional objective is the immobilization of GM-CSF on the yeast cell surface. The activity of GM-CSF and yeast displaying this growth factor on surface will be evaluated by stimulating TF1 cell line proliferation.
