Development of topical issues related to regional development, formation and functioning of regional socio-territorial systems. Understanding the significance of historical regionalism in the context of the modern development of historical science for solving practical and topical problems of Ukrainian society, the impact of internal and external factors on it, and the role of Ukraine in the geopolitical space from antiquity to the present. Study of the source base, processing of statistical data, systematisation of pre-revolutionary and modern historiography, foreign Ukrainian studies on regional history for a comprehensive study, preparation of monographs, articles, abstracts, teaching aids; involvement of higher education students in research work on the study of individual regions, deepening of local history research; generalisation, critical reflection and objective assessment of the accumulated foreign and domestic experience of historical regional history. To identify the most important historical events of the all-Ukrainian scale that took place in different territories of the Ukrainian lands, in particular in Chernihiv-Siverskiy region; to study the peculiarities and trends of regional socio-economic and socio-cultural history, mental characteristics of Ukrainians and other ethnic groups, the nature of interethnic and interreligious relations, to chronologically correlate the processes that took place in the Ukrainian lands with the general European trends of historical movement. popup.nrat_date 2025-02-01 Close
