Mechnikov National University popup.description1 Preservation of life and health of the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, civilian population in military and post-war conditions, when the composition of emergency chemically hazardous substances (ECHS) in the air is unknown, and their concentration significantly exceeds the maximum allowable concentration. The goal can be achieved by creating a scientific basis for the development of highly effective catalyst for low-temperature oxidation of carbon monoxide (CLTO-CO), as well as single-layer biocidal chemisorption-filtering materials (BCSFM) with active "response" indication (BCSFM-AI) for equipping gas mask boxes of personal respiratory protective equipment (RPE). This will be achieved by establishing the structural, morphological, physicochemical and catalytic characteristics of CLTO-CO; the creation and study of the protective properties of single-layer BCSFM-AI for use in conditions of containing various types of ECHS in the air; development of an active indication unit. This will allow optimizing the location of the indicator unit, as well as developing gas mask filters that effectively clean the air from bio-arosales (bacteria, fungi), gases (CO, SO2, NH3) and vapors of various nature, and on this basis, develop designs for gas mask filters for RPE. popup.nrat_date 2025-03-19 Close
