The study of the topic of foreign investment covers both attracting foreign investment into the economy of Ukraine and investing in the economies of other countries. In the context of international economic and scientific and technical partnership, the study involves the study of cross-investment processes between the countries of interaction. Comprehensive digitalization arouses interest and scientific interest in the issues of deepening international cooperation in the field of economic activity on the principles of digitalization of the process. The introduction of digital technologies in the process of interstate trade and economic relations reduces the time required for customs procedures and reduces the costs of providing logistical connections. Innovative design, as a system of interrelated tasks and programs for their achievement, constitutes a complex of scientific research, development, production, organizational, financial, commercial and other activities. The listed activities require proper scientific research. The effectiveness of international cooperation is assessed in three areas, namely: by level of management - at the level of the state, a separate region, a specific enterprise, its divisions; by type of activity - foreign trade, scientific and technical cooperation, currency and financial, investment activities, joint ventures, etc.; by time interval - short-, medium- and long-term.
