The integration of electric vehicles (EVs) and battery energy storage systems (BESSs) has emerged as a promising and efficient solution, which present opportunities for decentralized energy generation and storage at the community level. This project aims to investigate the vital role of energy communities (EComs) in shaping the improvement of electricity grids in the future, with a central focus on developing an open-source tool to support ECom-forming strategies and efficiently integrate EVs and BESSs into power distribution systems.
