This study is conducted on the basis of scientific objectivity. The analysis of the problem is based on the method of philosophical -anthropological analysis, which combines the classical method of transcendence and post-classical approaches to the analysis of the anthropological foundations of human existence, and also involves a combination of the analysis of the sphere of everyday life and the limit, boundary characteristics of human existence. The methodological foundations of this study will also include contemporary developments in the fields of philosophical anthropology, political science, epistemology, ethics, conflict studies, and sociology. The topic is devoted to the study of the philosophically-anthropological dimensions of military conflicts in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The anthropology of war, the anthropology of violence, the anthropological dimensions of resentment, sacrifice, heroism, etc. are topical issues that are being explored by today's philosophical and scientific community. A common mode inherent in all manifestations of human existence in conditions of military aggression is the proliferation of dehumanization. The realization of the impossibility of eradicating evil as an spiritual principle leads to the problem of recognizing the boundaries beyond which evil takes on an aggressive and destructive character. In such cases, an ominous counterpoint to the symphony of public consciousness is the inversion of humanity — the “reversal of humanism” — which is embodied on a theoretical level in numerous concepts of the inevitability of violence, murder, war, the glorification of suffering, the aestheticization of death, and in in a bloody chain of cynical and vile crimes that become indicators of dehumanization. Particular emphasis will be placed on the specifics of the problem of war and peace in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war. popup.nrat_date 2025-09-19 Close
