This will allow us to significantly refine the general picture of the formation and development of Ukrainian philosophy in the 11th–18th centuries. In our opinion, the latter will be possible due to the implementation of the following tasks: - to identify the sources and specifics of mystical and rationalist traditions in Ukrainian philosophical thought of the 11th–18th centuries; - to identify the main models of interaction between mystical and rationalist traditions against the backdrop of the history of the formation of domestic Christianity, intercultural and interfaith interaction; - to systematize the key texts and personalities representing the mystical and rationalist traditions in Ukrainian philosophical thought, to reconstruct the main concepts and ideas that describe them; - to trace the development and interaction of mystical and rationalist traditions in the context of Western and Eastern influences, Aristotelianism and Platonism, Orthodoxy and Catholicism. The implementation of these tasks will make it possible to form, for the first time, a comprehensive modern scientific vision of the interaction between mystical and rationalist traditions in Ukrainian texts of the 11th–18th centuries, and also involves the creation of transcriptions and translations into Ukrainian of manuscripts and early printed books from the medieval and early modern periods that expressed mystical and rationalist aspects of knowledge and “life in truth.” popup.nrat_date 2025-09-22 Close
