Sheliazhenko, Доктор філософії Registration Date 23-10-2025 Organization Private Scientific Organization "Institute of Peace and Law" popup.description1 The work is aimed at: studying the genesis, current state, composition and prospects for development of a culture of peace and nonviolence in Ukraine and the world on the basis of guiding documents and information sources of international organizations (United Nations, UNESCO, Council of Europe, etc.), national (including state authorities), scientific, educational, civil society and religious institutions, including international and national non-governmental organizations, peace movements and churches (human rights defenders, pacifism, Quakerism, etc.), with a survey of publications by researchers, including on methods of studying and practicing a culture of peace and nonviolence; description of ways to strengthen the principles of civil democracy and the rule of law in a peace culture and education; finding out from open sources (without searching for and using information with limited access) security considerations, concerns and approaches to a peace culture and education; discovery and development of a potential of peace culture and education to protect peace and security by nonviolent and unarmed methods, including peaceful defense of the Homeland, independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine, ensuring her economic and information security, nonviolent resistance to Russian aggression against Ukraine and resilience of civil society in the face of external and internal challenges to the culture of peace, civil democracy, the rule of law, human rights, and civil liberties; formulation of a concept of development of peace culture and education with a goal to achieve peace, justice, and comprehensive common security, including human security, at the national and international levels, and testing this concept in scientific and educational activities. popup.nrat_date 2025-10-23 Close
