The objectives of the study are to analyze modern scientific literary sources on the climatic and ecological features, geomorphological and hydrological conditions for the formation of water quality indicators of the basin ecosystems of the Prykarpattia and to select the optimal methods of hydrological research; to establish critical factors of anthropogenic load and assess the significance of their impact on the quality of natural waters of the river basins of the Prykarpattia; to substantiate the methods of influencing the geomorphological and hydroecological conditions of river basins to activate the function of natural self-purification of surface waters and the positive impact on them of hydrodynamically active areas in the channels; to carry out laboratory experiments and perform field studies of seasonal changes in the main quality indicators of river waters and sediments under the influence of freshet and river floods in the Carpathian territories; to develop recommendations for protecting territories from floods and measures to reduce anthropogenic impact on the quality indicators of mountain river waters based on the study of hydrodynamic and channel processes; to develop a methodology for calculating mass transfer processes for predicting channel changes in mountain river basins of the Carpathian region. popup.nrat_date 2025-11-12 Close
