Zhydkova, Кандидат технічних наук Registration Date 11-12-2025 Organization "NDPI BUDTEСHEXPERTIZA" LTD popup.description1 The purpose of this document is to establish scientifically substantiated methodological approaches and practical solutions for creating a barrier-free environment for certain types of residential and public buildings, including cultural heritage sites, taking into account the provisions of DBN V.2.2-40:2018 “Inclusiveness of Buildings and Structures. General Provisions”, as well as other relevant building codes, standards, and regulations, and the principles of universal design. The development of this document is directed towards ensuring a unified and systematic approach to providing accessibility in buildings and structures for all population groups during design and construction activities; improving the quality of architectural solutions through scientifically supported and practice-oriented recommendations; ensuring that design solutions comply with national legislation and Ukraine’s international commitments, in particular the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, ratified by the Law of Ukraine of 16 December 2009 No. 1767-VI; creating tools for implementing a barrier-free environment in the practical activities of design and expert organizations, accessibility specialists, local self-government bodies, and facility owners and users; facilitating the integration of accessibility principles during construction works at cultural heritage sites without compromising their authenticity; and summarizing existing experience, including best practices in ensuring accessibility for persons with limited mobility, as well as preparing systematized materials in the form of practical recommendations and typical (universal) technical (design) solutions. popup.nrat_date 2025-12-11 Close
