The research includes an analysis of current trends in metal forming, computer and analytical modeling of plastic deformation processes, and experimental studies of new forming schemes. The obtained results are aimed at improving the methods for calculating and designing technological processes, developing classifications of new deformation techniques, determining the conditions of contact friction, and formulating practical recommendations for industrial implementation.
