The conditions for implementing the Association Agreement, obtaining candidate status and starting the negotiation process are creating new requirements for harmonising national administrative and legal mechanisms with European standards of good governance. The purpose of the study is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of current approaches to public administration in Ukraine in light of European standards, identify areas for improvement of administrative and legal mechanisms, and develop scientifically sound proposals for their harmonisation in accordance with the principles of good governance, transparency, accountability and efficiency. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to: analyze the current state of administrative and legal regulation of public administration in Ukraine and its compliance with European standards; identify key factors and directions for the development of administrative and legal mechanisms in the context of European integration; to study the impact of the implementation of EU standards and the practice of the European Court of Human Rights on the modernisation of public administration mechanisms; to offer scientifically sound recommendations for updating legislation and institutional mechanisms of public administration in Ukraine; develop conceptual approaches to building a modern system of administrative and legal regulation that is consistent with EU norms and practices; ensure the integration of research results into the educational process and scientific activities of the department, contributing to the training of legal professionals capable of applying European standards in the practice of Ukrainian public administration. popup.nrat_date 2026-01-11 Close
