Fedorov, Доктор фізико-математичних наук Registration Date 30-01-2026 Organization Karazin University popup.description1 The aim of this project is to determine the kinematic parameters of the Galaxy’s three-dimensional velocity field and to analyze and interpret them in the Galactic XY, XZ, and YZ planes. To achieve this, the following tasks need to be performed: - Develop software for the analysis of star samples from the GAIA DR3 catalogs and other catalogs containing the required astrometric parameters. Develop software to determine kinematic parameters within the framework of linear and quadratic O–M models. - Determine the kinematic parameters and perform an analysis of the obtained results. - Establish the dependence of the kinematic parameters on Galactic coordinates and visualize their distribution in all Galactic planes in the form of parameter maps. - Analyze the velocity tensors of rotation and deformation to identify possible connections with physical processes in the Galaxy and interpret the obtained results. - Using the centroids of high-luminosity stars of different spectral classes, construct the Galaxy’s rotation curves as a function of the Galactocentric azimuth Ө, and determine the circular rotation velocity of the Galaxy as a function of coordinates R and Ө. popup.nrat_date 2026-01-30 Close
