As is known, it faces many fundamental tasks, without the solution of which the progressive development of the legal system, the formation of an effective legal order, the modernization of the system of law and legislation, the improvement of basic legal technologies, the legal support of good governance are impossible. This, in turn, clarification and rethinking in the light of the latest methodological approaches of important issues that affect the main sections of general theoretical jurisprudence are required: legal theory and philosophy of law, legal methodology and legal dogma, sociology of law, etc. It is necessary to take into account the impact on them of such important processes and events as globalization, European integration, digitalization and e-government, epidemic threats and martial law, etc. The implementation of such tasks should be accompanied by relevant historical and comparative studies that will contribute to a better understanding of the relevant trends (both in synchronous and diachronic perspectives) in the main legal families, form the necessary experience and legal memory.
