Such factors undoubtedly include the extremely diverse damage caused by the Russian Federation's armed aggression against Ukraine, as well as the need for creative and rational restoration of the national economy, changes in its structure, and the level of innovation support. Separate challenges that require new and improved models of legal regulation are the processes of deglobalisation with an emphasis on the specifics of foreign economic, investment and innovation activities. They determine the corresponding need to improve the effectiveness of state regulation in the field of industrial and agricultural production. Another important factor is the actualization of the innovative component in the process of striving for the competitiveness of national production. The current state of Ukrainian legislation in the field of innovation requires urgent improvement. In fact, it is necessary to institutionalize the innovative function of the state and the National Innovation System. The repeal of the Commercial Code of Ukraine, despite questions about the expediency and validity of such a step, necessitates filling a number of legislative gaps that have arisen as a result of this decision. First of all, this concerns the institutionalization of legislative support for state economic policy relations (industrial, construction, agricultural, etc.), as well as the institution of state regulation of economic activity as a comprehensive systemic mechanism for targeted state activity in the economic sphere. Special legal regimes for economic activity, which were previously systematically enshrined in the Commercial Code of Ukraine and other legislation, require separate regulation. popup.nrat_date 2026-01-30 Close
