The object of this study is relatively unchanged thyroid tissue, tissue of thyroid tumours and of their metastases to regional lymph nodes of the above patients. Methods of investigation: histological and immunohistochemical methods using modern equipment: devices for automatic processing of histological material and preparation staining, microtomes, cryostat, thermostats, refrigerators, modern light microscopes, distillator. The results obtained point out involvement of studied growth factors and oncogens in TC in children and adolescents. Their localization and intensity of reaction with corresponding antibodies are evidence of a high proliferative activity of studied papillary carcinomas, especially in areas of solid growth in case of solid-follicular variant. On the contrary, in thyroid adenomas oncogen expr ession was determined in isolated cases and had a focal character. The present work represents a topical and priority investigation, being carried out on a unique material and containing new data on cellular mechanisms of TC in children and adolescents affected as a result of the Chornobyl accident. The results of this work may be used as additional criteria for differential diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid tumours Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2020-04-03 Close
