Activation of fluxing ductile substance has permitted to improve metallurgical quality of pellets without using bentonite. The research of oxidizing-reducing transformation in combined agglomeration fnd metalliiization process has shown the ways of receiving the metallizing iron ore feed. The sintering of charge with ore-fuel cake gives an opportunity to use non-coking coal and technical waste and to reach jptimum level of metallization of pelletizing product. The study of mechanism of iron grain sintering during the reduction period has permitted to offer technological method of increasing temperature by metallization of pellets in shaft furnaces.
