One of them had level 3 according INES scale. For all others the violation level did not exceed 1. The overwhelming majority of cases the violations are connected with insufficient quality assurance. The conducted analyze had shown that considerable proportion, if not all, nuclear fuel is damaged during operation, that leads to more or less consequences to operation safety. This means assemblies curvature and rods depressurizing during campaign. During time period analyzed the decrease of the assemblies' curvature number and the increase of rods depressurizing in the core is revealed. The recommendations are developed for decreasing of the nuclear damaging during NPP operation. The Ukrainian NPP nuclear fuel damaging analysis made it possible to size up about the actual state-of-art and to reveal the unsolved problems and tendencies in nuclear fuel management.
