The incoming problem-oriented language based on the variational calculation has been used for the method of final elements for the first time. With the help of the system FORTU some flat and three - dimtnsional problems of the theory of elasticity and plasticity with arbitrary area, contact problems in different formulations have been analysed; the quantitative and qualitative comparison of the results has been carried out. The offered system can be used in Scientific Institutes and Construction Bureaus while calculating strength, reliability, durability of design elements.
