Karazin popup.description2 The kinetics of the intermetallic lateral spreading along the free surface and the coalescence of pore ensembles localized at the boundaries in alloy and for comparison in pure copper as well as the effect of low hydrostatic pressures on the kinetics of intermetallic phase growth and discontinuous precipitation with limited dissolution of components have been studied. The Arrhenius equations for bulk and surface diffusion in nonstoichiometric intermetallics as well as for the reaction of its formation have been obtained and the atomic mechanisms of these process have been proposed. It has been shown that the coalescence kinetics of pores localized at the boundaries in binary alloys and pure components have been controlled by different processes: in the alloys - by vacancy birth, or the solution formation at the surfaces of the dissolving pores; in pure components - by the diffusion along boundary. It has been found the accelerative effect of low hydrostatic pressure on the kinetics intermetallic growth and the discontinuous precipitation. This effect has been connected with increase of the interface mobility due to elimination from them the micropores, cracks and other free volumes of submicron sizes under low pressures. Low pressures don't affect free volumes of the atomic sizes at interfaces and then they don't change the diffusion parameters along the boundaries.
