It is shown, that 4-phenylsubstituted spinaceamines, spinacines and N1-substituted 2-azaspinaceamines also undergo the mild catalytic hydrogenolysis which results in formation of 5-benzylsubstituted histamines, histidines and substituted 5-benzyl-2-azahistamines respectively. The study of their chemical properties was conducted, for example, the iodination, bromination and cyclisation reactions. Some of obtained compounds can be of interest for of medycine as potential histamine antagonists for treatment ulcer, allergy and other diseases and also passess properties of X-ray contrast agents.
