The goal of the analysis is to work out proposals as to the increase of effectiveness of its use taking into consideration the seasonal functioning of the recreation objects. Analytical, statistical, comparative analysis methods and polling have been used. In the process of the survey the structure of the resort and sanatorium institutions at the off-season time was determined, qualitative and quantitative characteristics of those employed were made, and the effectiveness of employment of the population was considered.
