The goal of the analysis is to work out proposals as to the reforming the system of the professional training of the labor from the point of view of its correspondence to the demand for the labor force forming on the labor market. Comparative, statistical, balance, and sociological method of analyses were used. The work considers the range and the problems of the professional training and retraining of the labor at the enterprises as well as with the assistance of the placement service and shortcomings in the control of these projects by the regional control structures. Problems of employment of the graduates of the vocational training institutions have been revealed. Proposals have been put forward concerning organization of the vocational training and retraining of the labor in accordance with the requirements of the st ructural reconstruction of the economics and market relations.
