It has been revealed that each disturbance ( solar flare, magnetic storm, earthquake, lightning) has a distinct effect on radio wave propagation in the D region, and the physical processes which can cause the variations observed are discussed. The specification of the coupling between the solar and geomagnetic conditions and the public health has been improved.
