Karazin popup.description2 The research objects:biological diversity of typical and intrazonal ecosystems on the edge of two nature zones of Leftbank Ukraine ,in particular steppe virgin lands,upland oak forests water meadows, river beds.The aim of work:state estimation of the nature complexes of Left- bank Ukraine,investigation of the contemporary state of rare species and communities ,their use and reserve.Novelty the work: scientific grounds for organisation of kharkov state steppe nature reserve, the important link of nature reserve net of Ukraine ;creation of fully Coleoptera system of Ukraine;analysis of spider communities of upland oak forests; bird counts in three types of flood-plain forest (old oak forest, average -age oak forest and river- side willow -poplar forest) were carried out in total area of 88.2 ha. Data of parts of total habitat territory which are occupy by several bird species are presented. The results of the work have been passed for use in International progeam "Importan t Bird Areas" and Ministry of ecological safety of Ukraine.
