Karazin popup.description2 It has been found that heme oxygenase activity in rat liver was increased by 24 hours after single injection of CoCl2 or HgCL2. In first hours after HgCl2 administration the hemolysis products content in blood serum, the holoenzyme activity and heme saturation of tryptophan- 2,3 -dioxygenase in rat liver were found to increase. The high level of the hemolysis products content and the tryptophan -2,3-dioxygenase holoenzyme activity were prevented but the cytochrome P450 content was decreased in 24 hours after HgCl2 administration . Co - administration of HgCl2 and antioxydants (a-tocopherol or bilirubin) has prevented both the increasing of heme oxygenase activity, hemolysis products content ,tryptophan -2,3 -dioxygenase activity and the decreasing of cytochrome P450 level. Cobalt chloride injection caused the increasing of the hemolysis products level in blood serum, vut didn't after holoenzyme activity of tryptophan -2,3-dioxygenase in first hours after administration. By 24 hours af ter CoCl2 injection the total and holoenzyme activities of tryptophan -2.,3-dioxygenase and the cytochrome P450 level is sharply decreased.Co-administration of CoCl2 and antioxidants has prevented the changes in studied parameters with the exceptions of heme oxygenase activity. Thus data obtained show that the heme oxygenase induction after HgCl2 administration is connected with blood serum and liver free heme pool increasing but after CoCl2 administration it is due to heme analog Co-protoporphyrin formation. The antioxidant application leads to the free heme (prooxidant) level decreasing after heavy metals salt injetions therefore the cell hemoproteins level is preserved.
