Karazin popup.description2 Subject of investigation is thin light-sensitive films on the basis with a colloidal silver admixture. Purpose of the work is the investigation of spontaneous periodic structures, photoinduced dichroism, nature of colloidal absorption of the light by metallic particles of nanometric sizes. Methods of the investigation are: vacuum preparation of films, their irradiation by a monochromatic and a quasimonochromatic light, spectroscopic and diffraction measurements of irradiated samples. The nature of the spectral gap and its relation to periodic structures were studied, the temporary evolution of spontaneous gratings and influence of the photoinduced dichroism on the spectral adaptation were investigated. Method of properties investigation of spontaneous gratings was elaborated, with help of small angle scattering of light from the gratings. Influence of the laser beam with different polarization states (linearly, elliptically, circularly) on the characteristic of the small-angle scattering was studied. Method for observation of diffraction of light from spontaneous gratings during their formation and a method for preparation of colour holograms in the visible region were elaborated. Colloidal absorption bands of Ag, Au, Al, Te were studied. Resonance frequencies for smallest granules and plasma frequencies of oscillations of free electrons were found, too.
