The purpose of the work is to study the problems of social and economic consequences of the restructuring (from the point of view of employment) at the internal production and regional levels. Economic, statistical, sociological, monographic investigation methods as well as comparative analysis have been used. Recommendations for the state and regional branch levels as well as those concerning financial and organizational provisions for the restructuring have been worked out which can be used at the industrial enterprises of all forms of ownership, by local autonomous bodies, city and district population employment centers of the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of the Industrial Policy of the Ukraine.
