IT was founder by calculations that for coals with low-fusion ash there is a maximum on the dependence particle burning time (ц) vs. oxygen concentration and ц is growing up with reduction in ash particle sizes. It was experimentally determined that the ignition temperatures of anthracite dust (Tі) increase with ash content (Aг) enlargement, and decrease with fuel and/or oxygen concentration; it was showed that the dependencies of anthracite dust ignition delay time (ц) are in full accordance with theoretical predictions; growth of (Аг) leads to цincreasing. Within the frames of the developed model of the laminar dust flame (LDF) it was shown that for coals with high- fusion ash the external diffusion regime is likely to take plase, LDF of coals with low-fusion ash may burn in the internal regime which is limited by diffusion through a ash layer or by chemical kinetics.
