Among hydrometeorological parameters dangerous criteria for wind, tornados, fogs, ice accretion, atmospheric precipitation, level and wave disturbances of the sea, ice, currents, temperature of water, halocline and other are established especially. For catastrofic hydrochemical phenomena criteria on following indexes or parameters of water quality are developed: biogenic substances, oxygen, organic polluting substances (petroleum hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, polyclorynated bifenyls, detergents, sum of phenols), heavy metals, size of petroleum or oil film on the sea surface.
