Distribution of the deformation defects in ZnSe single- and polycrystals has been studied as well. The results of the investigations and their novelty consist of the development of a new approach to the widening of functional abilities of ZnSe by means of creation of certain strongly nonequilibrium conditions of growing ZnSe from melt; those favoring macroscopic ordering of structure defects - deformation carriers. Determination of the main parameters and characteristics of crystal structure, finding out their correlation with the anomalies of physical properties. Development of the methods of determination of elasticity parameters of crystals and their identification on the basis of the low frequency spectrum of the own oscillations in the samples of a definite form.
