The aim of the study is to develop the technology for the preparation of efficient solid supports for gas chromatography based on the raw materials from Ukrainian deposits. The methods used for the study are the argon thermal desorption method, gas adsorption chromatographic method. The technological method is developed for the preparation of efficient support using the liquid phase modification of traditional diatomite materials by organosilicon oligomers. These new materials are shown to possess higher separation ability and lower catalytic activity than the reference samples of Chromaton N-AW-DMCS and Chromaton N-Super, produced in Czechia. The results of the studies were used to develop and implement in the laboratory conditions the technology for the preparation of chromatographic supports based on the silica raw materi al from Ukrainian deposits (trepel opal rock) and polymethyl hydride siloxane (ГКЖ-94М). It is shown that the physico-chemical characteristics of the developed support are not worse than those for standart diatomite supports, while some chromatographic parameters of the support are even superior to that characteristic for standart supports. The technical documentation is developed for the chromatographic support based on the Ukrainian silica raw material.
