The research includes development of proposals on improvement of state support methods for enterprises in a transition economy, and provision of conditions for long-term financial sustainability of Ukraine. The methods of research include systemic analysis, synthesis, statistics of national accounts, mathematical statistics methods, factor analysis and forecasting. The research offers methodological approaches to the choice of efficient forms of state support for the enterprises and assessment of the state's financial sustainability under transitional conditions, methodological fundamentals of improvement of Ukraine's taxation system in the context of creation of conditions for economic growth. The authors of the research have developed and implemented the fol lowing: proposals on increasing the efficiency of Ukraine's fiscal policy; proposals on the choice of efficient forms of state support for enterprises directed to the use of the national economy's comparative advantages; and a model of influence of financial and macroeconomic indicators on the level of Ukrainian public debt.
