The goal of investigations: analysis and optimization of antenna for airspace radiometrical systems. Methods of investigations: strict methods of solving the boundary problems of electrodynamics, computer analysis, experiments. The problem of providing the optimal amplitude distributions of sources in apertures of the narrow - beam antennas and antenna arrays was solved theoretically. The irradiator and reflector parameters relationship which provides the optimal gain of the one - reflector parabolie antenna was obtained. The calculation technique of the electrodynamic characteristing of the two-reflector scanning and multibeam antennas including the case of special profile base reflector was worked out. The algoritms for calculating characteristics of big reflector antennas the reflector surface of which is approximated by plane triangles was worked out. More precise method of calculating the characteristics of waveguide and horn radiators was elaborated. It is shown that the decreasing of the side and back radiation of vibrator situated above rectagular screen is possible in required sector of observation angles. The possibility of operating the band and directional characteristics of the travelling wave antenna arrays by using the two-side exciting was proved. The experimental models of the narrow-beam scanning nonequidistant two-channel antenna array for airborne radiometer and two-channel microstrip antenna array for side-looking radar with optimized electrodynamic characteristics have been designed and investigated. REsults of this work can be used for designing the receiving antennas of systems for monitiring the environment, Earth surface, ocean and also in radar, TV and communication.
