The purpose of this work: determination of position of energy states and transition frequencies of energy levels; calculations of matrix element of the dipole moment of Na atom; determination of parameters of polarization model of Na atom. The systemization of spectroscopic data in the optical, infrared and microwave frequency regions for the Na atoms and the results of high precision measurements of transition frequencies of Na atoms in the rydberg states, obtained by our group, has allowed us: to obtain more accurate position of energy levels; to make more calculations of matrix el;ement and frequencies for rydberg transitions of Na atoms. The new values of a dipole and quadrupole components of polarizability of a nuclear body of Na atom are found. The results of this Scientific Research Work, certainly, have practical interes and will be used in the further development of the theory of atoms of alkaline metals.
