The purpose of the work: mathematical models construction, calculated and experimental study of the physical regularities of electrodynamic characteristics behavior of slot radiators and coupling openings in the presence of geometrical and boundary conditions complications. Method of investigation: the excitation problems are solved using the tensor Green's functions and the modified eigen- waves method; boundary - value problems are reduced to integral-differential equations which are solved with the Galerkin's method; constructions of calculation algorithms for multi-slot systems are based on the successive approximations method. The algorithms are built for the energetic parameters calculation of group radiators in the walls of an infinite, half - infinite rectangular waveguide and a res onator, of amplitude-phase distribution along systems of longitudinal and X-like slots in a broad wall of an rectangular waveguide with an arbitrary reflecting loading at the and in the system of longitudinal slots in a broad wall of an infinite rectangular multi - mode waveguide. The possibility of tuning on circular field polarization is investigated which is radiated by a single slot and a system of them by means of a reflecting end loading. Modification of eigen - waves method is proposed and convergent expressions are obtained for inner admittances of longitudinal slots in a rectangular waveguide loaded with a layered dielectric. The physical properties of nonregular ingle slots and systems of them in the walls of one-mode and multi- mode rectangular waveguides have been studied. The results of investigations may be used in the process of elaboration of new radiating devices and nodes of feeder lines with advanced characteris tics.
