The work's aim is introduction and acclimatization of economically important food, medicinal and ornamental plants, development of foundations of their involvement into practice and also sustainable methods of prediction of introduction perspectiveness. The methods of researches are phenological observations, study of plants seasonal development rythmics, their respond to growth conditions, bioeconomic assessment, revealing of beneficial species. The complex analysis of rare food and other useful plants collection fund 535 samhles has been performed, their scientific, economic, and collection value being found. New valuable and beneficial species of fruit-and-berry plants, vegetable ones and other plants for agricultural use and urban forestry. The methods of Lonicera edulis Turcz. ex Freyn, L. kamtchatika (Sevast.) Pojark. propagation have been developed. Two new forms of ca mpsis have been described. Economerat Echtermaier crabapple 8 highly ornamental forms have been defined and recommended for growing. New varieties of Allium odorum L.) have been defined and described. 4 sorts of honeysuckles and 3 of mulberry have been defined, described and transferred for Sort Trial. The results may be used at the solution of particular items of the theory and practice of introduction, taxonomy, seection and in agriculture. The results of investigations have been generalized in 1 monograph and 81 published works, 2 monographs have been prepared for publication.
