The metod of the investigation is selecting the most suitable for the problems under investigation and geological environment in Ukraine automatic technology. Upon the base of the elaborated pattern recognition algorithm the new automatic system for forecasting deposits of the hard mineral resources and quality of their resources has been developed. The system had been tested at the four types of mineral resources within the Ukrainian Shield. The branch of application is geological exploration.
