The objects of investigation are the environmental objects in the IR range of radiation. Method of investigation is the mathematical analysis of thermal processes and statistic analysis of the infra-red images. The biological objects were examined by the IR methods and recommendations were developed as well. The structural scheme of the environmental monitoring and its structure optimization was developed. Methods of the IR images improvement in medical diagnostics were analyzed as well as the IR images from the point of view of their quality. The algorithms of the thermogram processing were developed to improve the sensing of the thermal images. The results of work will be used in practical work in the systems of thermal diagnostics of environment and production which strengthen anthropogenic influence on biosphere. Forecasts for the development of the object under inv estigation: software development to continue the optimal processing of the investigated results concerning the negative influence of production on the environment.
