Object of work - to increase the efficacy of gastric and duodenum ulcer complex treatment using laser therapy. Мethods of research - clinical, histological, immunological, statistical, impulse laser LLI-402, helium-neon laser "Yagoda", endoscope CIGDBVO-4, microscope "Biolam", PECM. Results - new pharmacological-physiotherapeutical approaches to gastric and duodenal ulcer treatment in Chernobyl cohort were worked out and tested. Different frequency-energy characteristics of laser irradiation and methods of its application to the object were used. Expediency and advantage of this complex laser therapy were demonstra ted compared with only pharmacological therapy. Advantages of external (skin-contact) laser exposure when compared with intragastroduodenal were shown. The proposed method of consecutive external laser exposure proved the its effectiveness: at the beginning, in acute phase of ulcer disease, the most intensive impulse exposure regimen was used, then in the phase of remission helium-neon laser exposure in uninterrupted regimen was used. Effectiveness of new treatment methods was proved at the Institute of Medical Radiology and Kharkov Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (Department of physiotherapy). Inculcation - 6 publications, 5 lectures, project of information letter for stomach and duodenum ulcer treatment, 2 applications for invention, the positive resolution was received for one of them. Field of application - therapy, radiation medicine, gastroenterology. Significance of work - treatment efficacy increase, reduction of terms the ulcer healing, shortening of terms of hospitalisation, treatment cost reduction.
