Evaluation of parameters of processes of hardening was carried spent by methods classtarization, unification steels and identification of processes of hardening. The researches were carried spent on IBM / PC in environment of development of applied systems with databases and knowledge - GURU. At research of the marks steels the correlation analysis of the mechanical characteristics is used. Directed on revealing of linearly independent attributes and method the main component applied for convolution of initial space of the description of the marks steels. In result the model of a complex parameter of quality branded of gange rolled metal in space the main component before thermal hardening is developed. The algorithm of a preliminary grouping and classtarization of steels in an initial structural status is developed. The structure classtarization of steels thermal hardening is developed in view of the ir purpose. The results of research did not take root and are in a stage of the further development.
