O., Registration Date 20-02-2001 Organization Kharkov Scientific-Research Institute of Orthopaedics and Traumatology named after prof. M.I.Sitenko popup.description2 . Aim of the study - to ground medical and biological effectiveness of using hydroxyapatite ceramics (granules of different porosity, dimensions and form, composites with hydroxyapatite) for plastics of bone and osteochondral defects on the basis of determination of morphological features of reparation process of osseous and cartilaginous tissues as well as reconstruction of graft for treatment efficiency increase.Object - granules of hydroxyapatite different porosity, dimensions and form, composites on the base of hydroxyapatite, bone and cartilage tissues of white laboratory rats and rabbits. Methods - morphological with morphometric analysis. Use of hydroxyapatite for osteochondral defects plastics favours repair optimization of bone tissue and forming of tissue in the zone of cartilage wound. However, dimensions and form of granules and structure of pores affect rates of repair. Use of granules of different forms and major dimensions (with respect to defect size) results in slowing down bone format ion which makes for decrease of the level of regeneration tissues with granules at joint loading. As the result hyline cartilage does not form in the defect zone. Joining macroporosity with microporosity in granules favours more intensive rebuilding of granules them selves and the substitution with bone tissue. Chondroitine sulphate being composite element speeds up osteorepair and makes distinctive chonroprotective effect. Ceramic composite based on hydroxyapatite with tricalcium phosphate is preferable for osteochondral defect filling. Its usage stimulate hyline cartilage formation in cartilagewound because of providing anatomic and biological stability in defect zone and because of the formation of bone-ceramic complex resulted from distinctive biodegradetion of tricalcium phosphate in early term Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
