A technology was developed aimed at production of 3-D sealing reinforced materials and products made of thermally expanded graphite. Lots of sample material and sealing were prepared and tested under service conditions.The study results revealed that the materials developed, being environmentally friendly and having ameliorated physical/mechanical properties, will be able to replace asbestos-containing sealings in various applications.
