Synthesized is 2-(4-hydroxyphenylbenzilidene)-n-menthane-3-one as a key compound for chiral impurities of 2-(4-alkyloxyphenylbenzoiloxy)-n-menthane-3-one series. Created is an efficient material on the base of the weak-viscosity eutectic of 4,4(-dialkyldifluoroterphenyls containing 1R,4R-2-(4-hexyloxybenzilidene)-n-menthane-3-one chiral impurity. The developed material forms ferroelectric mesophase within a wide temperature range. It is shown that the composite containing 14% of the chiral impurity has a period of complete repolarization of 52mcsec at room temperature.
