The photoinduction optical absorption and photoinduction linear birefringence at T<130K have been for the first time revealed in NaCa2Mn2V3O12 crystals. The peculiarities of the growth process of Ca3Ga3Ce3O12:Mn garnets have been investigated, garnets having different concentrations of Mn and being grown by the Czochralski method. In Ca3Ga3Ce3O12:Mn crystals at corresponding concentrations of Mn found have been photoinduction optical absorption and linear birefringence at room temperature. A new medium - transparent in the visible region crystals - Ca3Ga3Ce3O12:Mn - have been grown, those promising to be used in the devices for optical recording of information at room temperature.
