Purpose of the work - to develop generalized mathematical models, base software-and-methodical support (SMS) and requuirements for the simulation model of HTH processes and investigate HTH processes in reaction spaces of technological devices Research method - numerical simulation. A generalized mathematical model of HTH processes has been developed including mathematical models of a different complexity level as constituent parts. There have been formulated requirements for the simulation model of HTH processes in reaction spaces flow conditions in the reaction space of a device for realizing the HTH process of lower-grade coal gasi- fication. The influence of the height of a clearance between the smelting chamber out -of the device for drilling holes in rocks by a thermal melting method - and the surface of action on mean-volumetric cha- racteristics in th e chamber and heat fluxes along the surface of action has been found by calculation. The influence of the degree of carbon burning out from coal-containing particles and the mainstream flow swirl on two-phase flow conditions in the reaction space of the cyclone-type reactor-gasificator has been assessed. The SMS developed is possible to be used in design and development work on new types of HTH technology devices, and the numerical analysis results - for the optimization of simulated HTH processes.
