The operating performances of elements of automated industrial systems with allowance for preventive maintenance and various kinds of refusals are investigated. The system approach to the solution of a problem of details orientation from any position in conditions of unregulated environment is offered. The mathematical model of a touching-measuring method of details orientation is constructed. In an outcome of researches the paths of a reliability and productivity of automated industrial systems increase, and also engineering solutions ensuring quality of arbitrary - lo cated details orientation, realized in an experimental sample, are offered.
