As a result, the peculiarities of level and structure of morbidity according to major classes of diseases and in relation to the region, individual's age and sex were found. The factors and how they influence morbidity level in major classes of diseases were studied, such as: social (loneliness, migration and nutrition), ecological (soil concentration of fertilizers, pesticides and hard metals) and constitutional (somatotypes). The higher morbidity level found in a southern region is determined by the ecological factors, high migration, unhelthy nutrition and the great incidence of subjects with unfavourable constitutional somatotypes. In Krasnogvardejsk district (AR of Crimea), there has been organised the rehabilitation committee to provide extra medico-social services for the elderly and very old people.
